It’s exactly what I was hoping it would be. Sturdy. All the right pockets. It’s perfect for carrying a large iPad or laptop. The straps are super strong and NOT leather which is a big reason why I purchased this bag. Also, there are short straps you can use to carry it with or put it over your shoulder and a long strap for cross body. It has an amazing water bottle pocket on the outside which i love. You can zip this pocket up so it is not in your way when you are not using it. I had this bag sitting in my cart FOREVER because I was hesitant about spending the money. No regrets! I have no negative comments about this bag. Just get it, you won’t regret it. Also, treat yourself to one of their pouches too. It’s nice for carrying small things in your bag. I NEVER write reviews. That’s how much I love this bag!
I did not expect to love this design so much! It was on sale and matched or coordinated well with the two bags I’m carrying a lot lately. But I love looking at it so much more than I thought I might. The trees off in the distance, wondering what the pattern is really about… just lovely and evocative.
I am a stitcher (needlepoint) and got this for my basics - tools, the couple of stitch books I use on the regular, my thumb tacks, and other stuff. I saw this on the site as something more for knitting and I am sure it would work for that too. Stitching is a little different - we usually get smushed in with 'crafting' - but we have some tools that can be sharp and heavy. I have bags for my individual projects but wanted a 'mothership container' where all my basics could live right beside me when I am stitching. I love this because the canvas makes it super heavy duty and none of my tools will poke through it. It is deep enough so that nothing will fall out but not so deep that I can't find things. It is big enough that I can get things in it - but not so big that I put so much into it that I can't find anything... sort of a Goldilocks sort of perfect bag. Add to that I got the sunny yellow with bright happy flowers and well, we have just hit the perfect bag all around.
I love the Daisy design. Just what I needed at this time of year. It’s currently holding a sweater project which I will be starting soon. It holds quite a bit and stands up firmly, which is a plus for a knitting bag. I’m very happy with this bag!
I purchased the Essential Tote for an international trip and it is as advertised as a great travel bag. I appreciated the interior water bottle holder, the extra pockets (inside and out) and the tab on the back to slide over my suitcase handle. Fully loaded it is a bit heavy to carry, but securing it to the suitcase makes it so easy, and the zippered top makes it secure. Everything I was looking for in a travel bag. It is a bit bulky for me for everyday use, so I'll continue to use my Market Totes as my everyday bags (I have a few patterns that I love), but this is a great addition to my Maika collection!
