The Hana Essential Tote is a beautiful bag. It's very well made, the fabric is lovely, and a woman owned company to boot!! I was primarily planning to use the bag as a carry on airline tote to stash under the seat. I took it on a trip and was so bummed when it didn't fit easily under the seat. I had to really push it to get it to wedge under and it left little room for my feet. And pulling it out was a chore when I needed to get things out of it. I'm not sure this would be true for all planes/airlines (I was on Alaska Air). I emailed customer service at Maika to see if they would take it back and was told that without the original tags and packaging it could not be returned. So hold onto those things if you aren't sure it's a keeper. Overall I would certainly support this product and the company - it just wasn't a good "fit" for my needs.

Perfect bag! The size is perfect for work and I love the durability! I feel like this will last many years!

This tote was everything I hoped for and the pattern is beautiful. I use it for the uni everyday. I would say the only comment is that the material picks up dirt pretty easy. Haven’t tried washing/wiping it yet but other than that love love love!
